NACC2, NACC family member 2, is the nucleus accumbens-associated protein 2 that functions as a transcriptional repressor and regulates Tp53, through Mdm2, to decrease cell proliferation (PMID: 22926524). An NACC2 fusion with NTRK2 has been observed in pilocytic astrocytoma (PMID: 23817572). |
